New Plans, Same Vision

For those of you who have been following the ministry progress via newsletters or Facebook page, you may recall that when reaching out to the land owner in January to move forward with purchasing the adjacent lot he said that he was no longer selling the property. After weighing all of the options with the board and praying over it, it was initially decided to offer him a bit more. He immediately came back with a no.

After lots of prayer and surrendering my own ideal for the land layout, I began to feel more at peace about considering adapting the building plans and layout to the space I have on the land already purchased.

The land owner called later that week and stated that he would be willing to sell for Q1,000,000- more than double the price he was asking just six months ago. While that was not the news I was hoping to hear,  it felt like confirmation that God was gently closing that door and that moving forward with building on the land I currently own is the best option right now.

The bright side of the plans to purchase the adjacent lot not working out as I hoped, is that those funds will now move us closer to beginning construction.

After a conversation with the architect, we feel confident that we can add an additional floor to the current plans we have for the hospital building and have the space on the current property to complete the first two phases of the project.

We continue praying that another lot in the area will become available to purchase in the future where the third phase apartements and garden area can be built.

In the meantime, we are very excited to be moving forward and look forward to sharing updated building plans and construction timeline in the near future.
