Statement of Faith

These are the foundational beliefs of our ministry that inform our decisions and guide every aspect of how we pursue our mission and fulfill our vision.

WE BELIEVE the Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. We believe Scripture, in its original writings, is inspired, infallible, and without error.

(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Hebrews 4:12; Romans 16:25–26)

WE BELIEVE there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal.

(Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7; 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

WE BELIEVE in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, sacrificial and atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.

(Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35; John 1:18; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Colossians 2:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; 1 John 5:20)

WE BELIEVE humanity was created by God to know Him and live in relationship with Him. Through humankind’s willful rejection of God’s Lordship, sin entered the world, bringing brokenness, sickness, death, and separation from God. As a result, all creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

(Genesis 1:26–27; Genesis 3:1–19; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Romans 8:20–22)

WE BELIEVE God has provided the way for this broken relationship to be restored through Jesus Christ. Salvation from the eternal consequences of sin is found by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ, through His death and resurrection.

(John 3:16; John 14:6; Romans 5:8-11; Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5-7; 1 Peter 3:18; Colossians 1:13-14)

WE BELIEVE that following salvation, believers are called to a lifelong relationship with God in which the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit to bring healing, growth, and transformation is evidenced by lives that increasingly reflect the character and love of Christ.

(2 Corinthians 3:18; Galatians 5:22–25; Philippians 1:6; Colossians 2:6–7; Ephesians 5:1-2)

WE BELIEVE human beings were created as holistic beings and that spiritual, emotional, social, and physical well-being are deeply interconnected. We believe true healing and wholeness are ultimately found in God and are nurtured through care for the whole person.

(Mark 12:30; Luke 2:52; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Proverbs 17:22; Proverbs 3:7-8)

WE BELIEVE every person is created in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent dignity, value, and worth from the moment of conception. We believe every individual should be treated with love, respect, compassion, and honor.

(Psalm 139:13–16; Genesis 1:27; Matthew 22:39; Ephesians 4:32; Romans 12:10; Matthew 10:30-31;)

WE BELIEVE the Church is the universal body of Christ, composed of all believers and united as one family under His Lordship. We believe the Church is called to proclaim the Gospel, advance God's Kingdom, make disciples, and demonstrate His love through service and compassion. We also believe in the importance of the local church as a gathering of believers who are united as one body, each using their unique gifts, for the purpose of worship, fellowship, discipleship, mutual care, and demonstrating the love of Christ to the community

(Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:42–47; Romans 12:4–5; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 4:11–13,16; Hebrews 10:24–25; James 1:27; Ephesians 1:22-23)
